In a recent study, the affectation of sleep according to the lunar cycle has been questioned, which in a broad sense sought to investigate in people of male, female and ages between 22 and up to 81 years, for 29.53 days, as is that his dream behaved from one day after the new moon and until reaching the full moon, that is, during the growth period and, in the same way, after the full moon and until the first day of the new moon or in the waning period.

It is important to consider that the lighting changes according to the phase you are in and can be a crucial factor in defining the sleep patterns of the people in the study.

It was noted that the duration of sleep was shortened in the periods of decrease with respect to those of increase, but this is not all, but also sex was associated with the same periods, which indicated that men could be having a better quality of sleep. somewhat less pleasant with respect to women, since from the beginning of sleep they were more awake, which decreased the effectiveness of sleep, this did not occur in women.

In his case, it was reported that women did not have these changes in the quality of sleep, so it was not affected by the lunar cycle, however, they are still trying to find out why it is that men do.

Due to the breadth of the study, with 852 subjects in the study, it was one of the largest works of association with the lunar cycle and sought to eliminate external factors such as normal sleep disorders and other situations that could have given rise to confusion in the results.
