Dr. Assem Al-Jazzar announced, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communitiesthat at nine o’clock this evening, Sunday, May 29, 2022, Cairo time, the reservation door will be opened in the eighth phase of the “House of the Homeland” project for Egyptians abroad, and it includes the offering of lands and units in distinctive locations in the new cities, and the offering is in coordination with the Ministry of Communications and the Central Bank of Egypt.

The minister explained that the website will be available for those wishing to book starting from nine o’clock today, Sunday, Cairo time, for registration and reservation, as it will be closed at exactly 3 o’clock this Sunday to update the data, and the conditions brochure and the locations of the lands and units offered will be available on the website at nine o’clock in the evening today. Sunday, and transfers will be received as of tomorrow morning, Monday 30/5/2022, including the reservation code, stressing that any transfers received before this time will be deported to be registered within the transfers of the fifth day of transfers.

The Minister of Housing indicated that the Council of Ministers had previously approved a new proposal in the eighth phase of the “House of Homeland” project for Egyptians abroad, and the New Urban Communities Authority determines the prices and numbers according to the vision of the Ministry of Housing and the regulations in force in the authority, and the offering includes residential plots of land for individuals, plots Lands with mixed activity, lands for cemeteries, villas, various housing units (housing: luxury – above average – medium), and administrative units, within the framework of the state’s efforts to provide various types of housing for its children working abroad, and to meet their desire to own their own home, and to link them to their mother country.

The Deputy Minister of Housing for National Projects added that the transfers are opened for a period of 3 weeks from the date of opening the reservation door, and it is not allowed to benefit from any excess amounts from previous confirmed reservations in the previous stages, and the allocation begins 20 days after the reservation door is closed, and those who transferred full amounts are allowed It has not been used and the reservation in the previous stages, with the possibility of booking in the (eighth) stage, by transferring an amount of $1,000 or transferring an amount to complete the advance payment, and the amount will be added with the priority of transfer of $1,000 or completion, and the transferred amounts will not be allowed to be transferred from one of the blockers to Another barrier, or adding amounts in excess of the advance payment from one transfer to include it with another transfer, whether for the barrier itself or for a third party, except after the completion of the allotment in case there are remaining units or lands.

The Deputy Minister of Housing indicated that the incoming transfers are recorded before the transfers are opened at this stage within the fifth day transfers, with no modification of any reservation that was confirmed on the site, and the possibility of modifying the desire will be allowed after completing the registration of all stage transfers for those who have not confirmed the reservation. For them, a deadline will be given to receive the amendment of desire on the website’s mail for a period of 4 days from the end of the registration of all transfers, and the requests will be registered according to the priority of the bank transfer contained in the statements of the Central Bank of Egypt.
