Al-Marsad newspaper – SPA: Today, the Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the implementation of the death sentence against one of the perpetrators in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, as follows:
قال الله تعالى ( إِنَّمَا جَزَاءُ الَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الأَرْضِ فَسَادًا أَنْ يُقَتَّلُوا أَوْ يُصَلَّبُوا أَوْ تُقَطَّعَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَأَرْجُلُهُمْ مِنْ خِلافٍ أَوْ يُنفَوْا مِنَ الأَرْضِ ذَلِكَ لَهُمْ خِزْيٌ فِي الدُّنيَا وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ) الآية.
The oldest / Mohammed bin Attiya Allah bin Omari Al-Harbi – a Saudi national – killed his mother / Hudhaydah bint Awaid Al-Shabhi – a Saudi national – while she was sleeping, by stabbing her several times, which led to her death.
With the grace of God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned offender, and the investigation with him resulted in accusing him of committing his crime, and by referring him to the Criminal Court, an instrument was issued against him to prove what was attributed to him and to sentence him to kill the victim. And a royal order was issued to enforce what was legally decided and supported by its reference against the aforementioned offender.
The death sentence was carried out by the perpetrator / Muhammad bin Attiya Allah bin Omri Al-Harbi, today, Tuesday 8/3/1444 AH, corresponding to 9/4/2022 AD, in the holy capital in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.
And the Ministry of Interior, as announcing this, to assure everyone the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God protect him – to establish security, achieve justice, and implement the provisions of God in everyone who transgresses against the safe and sheds their blood, and at the same time warns everyone who is tempted to do the same that Legitimate punishment will be his fate.
