Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip documented the moment an Omani citizen fell into a river in the city of Ayder in northern Turkey yesterday morning, hitting rocks at the bottom of the river, but he is still missing until the moment.
Omani media confirmed that efforts are being made by the Civil Defense, the police and the Turkish army to search for him, and the Turkish authorities have prepared an extensive search plan, which is to search through small waterfalls to the river, and go down with ropes, as it is possible that the missing person has fallen among the rocks.
For its part, the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Turkey said in a statement via its official account on Twitter: “The embassy received a report of the fall of an Omani citizen in one of the rivers of the city of Ayder in northern Turkey, and efforts are being made by the Civil Defense, policemen and the Turkish army to search for the missing.”
