Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip documented the appearance of an announcer on Sudan’s official TV, during the shooting.
The broadcaster said that conditions are calm inside the General Authority for Radio and Television in Sudan, while gunfire was heard in the background.
Sudan TV had earlier suspended broadcasts after reports of gunfire at its premises.
On Saturday, violent clashes erupted between the Sudanese army, led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, on the one hand, and the Rapid Support Forces, led by al-Burhan’s former ally, Muhammad Hamdan Dagalo, nicknamed “Hamidti”, on the other hand, in different areas of Khartoum.
