The most beautiful vases /// Danish brand studio about on the Nuka Design website

The beginning of September is an excellent time for a guided dive at the intriguing Nuka Design site. Items from the site have appeared here on the blog since its inception about a year ago, But we haven’t made an official introduction yet, so here goes:
She founded Nuka Design Anat Harel In order to bring to Israel the brands she fell in love with while wandering abroad: “Our goal is to bring beautiful things, literally. Without a certain style or color palette, without sticking to a certain style.” Apart from beauty, Anat makes sure that the brands she brings work with fair trade and considerate conditions for the environment. They are all small brands that support the local communities.
Another interesting thing about Anat: She lives in Ein Zivan, has four children, and Bar, the eldest, works with her.

Almost a happy holiday, or: cooperation for the holiday > Rosh Hashanah is almost here, and Nuka now has a 25% discount on which you can get another 10% off with the code Shelly until Thursday (7/9) at midnight.
It’s also worth keeping up to date on their Instagram.

My choices:

01 vase, no matter what size, by studio about: A Danish brand that arrived on the website in the last few days. There are items in the range between art and industrial design – both useful and heart-opening. The small vase in the picture and their large vases come in two parts: a stable cylinder that stands on a surface and the vase itself that goes into it. In both cases the stems are a few centimeters from the table, and this creates a clean look that I really like.
02 origami lampshade of the Orikomi brand: A female-owned Portuguese brand that was established as a pop-up where items were sold as a fundraiser to build houses for twenty women. They had such great success that the brand became a business.
03 candles, or one beautiful thing from Yod&Co. A London brand that made me fall in love with its candles (they have already appeared on the blog).
04 cookie moon print. Behind the sweet name is local illustrator Sarah Layman. Also worth following on Instagram.
05 animal rugs of the Indian brand doing goods. Actually also a frame for a picture or a serving spoon for a cake.
06 A beautiful matchbox. Since I got into the routine of lighting candles almost daily (with a slight break in July and August because I discovered that air conditioning and candles do not work well together) the need for an aesthetic solution for matches arose. Each box (available in all kinds of prints) has 125 long matches.

Must recommend a few more things, for example:
– Table cloths, cloth napkins or utensils of the English brand Avendia. A paradise for cottage-core enthusiasts.
– NAMA’s blankets, which must be on your wish list.

In the end it’s just me and you here
At the end of the day, quietly in the car
The news passed through Lid Hausen
And we said thank you for another day
