At the moment, the bride and groom are daring again as much as they can. Or at least many are already looking for the perfect location for the wedding. But before you can finally walk to the altar with satisfaction, there are a few essential questions to clarify: How big should the celebration be? What should the wedding dress look like? In the Kuffner Observatory you can go to the lecture hall or from April to October even dine in the lush green garden. In the planetarium you can use the foyer or the Oswald Thomas Hall. And there is also an exciting supporting program here: in the dome you can look at Sternderl in any weather and take a guided tour to bring you closer to space.

Virtual stars aren’t enough for you? Then get married in the open air! Or better: in the sky. Here the address says everything about the location. The idyllic local resort in the 19th district is not only good for weekend trips and small city escapes, but you can also get married here. Four-legged witnesses at the Spanish Riding School
We stay close – and similarly majestic. Because you can also tie the knot at the Spanish Riding School, with the royal mounts as four-legged witnesses. Classical horsemanship has been practiced here for more than 450 years. Pretty horses and lots of history are an unusual and beautiful mix for every wedding. The rental llamas from the hipster wedding next door can almost pack up. But enough about the four-legged competition: At the Spanish Riding School you can get married in three different rooms: in the Stallburg, Vienna’s oldest Renaissance courtyard, which can accommodate 560 people and can be booked from May to September, and in the winter riding school, which can accommodate up to 600 people and is available all year round, and in the salon, which is also available all year round but only holds 150 people. You can arrange exactly how the day should go with the riding school.

High up in the 22nd district, not far from Seestadt, are the Hirschstetten flower gardens.
