Soraya, the artist, was born on August 3, 1905, in the Lebanese city of Zahle, to a middle-class family.

Soraya Fakhri was married three times, the first to Mohamed Tawfik; Where he worked as an accountant for a large number of artists, and the reason for her marriage to him was that she spied on the fortunes of artists
After he revealed her, he separated from her after a few months of marriage, and she married for the second time to Nabil El-Desouky, and he had a lot of money and took his money and died after that.
Then she married for the third time to the artist Fouad Fahim, and that marriage lasted for seven years, and after his death he left her large sums of money, and Soraya Fakhri used that money to fund organizations.
Zionism, after feeling the end of it, decided to sell all its properties and immigrate to the State of Israel, but what was exciting was that she buried her large sums of money in the garden of the palace, in which she lives alone, but she was famous for being very stingy.
