Al-Marsad newspaper: The Music Authority announced today the launch of an activity in schools to teach male and female students music, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
The Musical Culture Program is part of the initiative to include music in public education, which aims to achieve the education pillar emanating from the strategic initiatives of the Music Authority.
The Music Culture program addresses a number of topics within virtual lessons on the Madrasati platform.
Topic concepts include:
1- A general definition of music with a detailed explanation of the artistic concepts.
2- A review of different aspects of musical theories and rules.
3- Focusing on selections of various musical instruments, their classification, manufacture and playing technique.
4- Getting to know the different traditional musical styles in the different regions of the Kingdom.
5- An overview of some of the musical personalities.
On aspects of support for the initiative to include music in public education:
1- Providing musical instruments.
2- Providing the necessary support for the development of basic technical skills.
3- Providing students with artistic musical culture.
4- Inclusion of 100 private music schools in its programs.
