First victory for our blaugrana at the World Cup in Qatar. The two Dutch Frankie of Jongwho played the whole match, and Memphis, who entered the game in the 62nd minute, took the 3 points against Senegal (0-2). Goals from Gakpo, on an assist from the Dutch midfielder, and from Klaassen, who followed well after a strike from the Barça striker, allowed theOrange to take a first step towards qualifying for the round of 16.
The Netherlands are leaders in Group A, tied with Ecuador (3 points each) and ahead of Qatar and Senegal.

Qatar 0 – Ecuador 2. The first match of the World Cup ended in victory for the South Americans.
