the next gen reboot has leaked in video and images, it is magnificent

Rumors of a Jet Set Radio reboot have been swirling around the internet for years. We remember that Hideki Naganuma, the composer of the original game, had released a tweet in May 2020 which seemed to tease the return of this license so appreciated by owners of the late Dreamcast. Last year, it was Bloomberg who bluntly dropped a scoop claiming that SEGA was indeed working on a new version of the game, as well as a reboot of Craxy Taxi. Today, it’s downright an image and a video that are setting fire to the powder on Twitter since a user posted an excerpt from an internet video (dating from 2021) where we see a passage of this Jet Set Radio “next gen” version. We see the character of Beat, just in front of the famous alley of Shibuya in Tokyo, accompanied by two other characters. But that’s not all, in this same video, we see that a remake of Persona 3 is also in the works. The video dating from two years ago, we also see images of Sonic Frontiers, long before it was revealed. The noose is therefore tightening around these revival projects which should be announced soon.

As for Crazy Taxi, we can assure you that SEGA is indeed working on a new game; so much so that the game Taxi Chaosreleased on Steam in 2021 even caused a legal dispute between SEGA and publisher Lion Castle Entertainment
