The next update for Gran Turismo 7 arrives this week, featuring four new cars

The founder of the Gran Turismo series, Kazunori Yamauchi, has I moved to Twitter To announce the next update of Juran Turismo 7Coming to consoles next week.

It arrives a little earlier than expected, landing about three weeks after Update previous content September 29. It’s the shortest amount of time between content updates to date, four or five weeks apart – and with the exception of 1.15 And 1.17The last Thursday of every month.

Another unusual aspect is that the update, which we’re tentatively calling 1.25, will bring four new cars instead of the three we’ve seen in every update so far:

It seems relatively easy to get acquainted with this group of cars, albeit with some qualifications. Perhaps the simplest is the lower left, which appears to be a 1973 Nissan Skyline GTR.

Often nicknamed “Kenmeri”, due to a promotion involving a married couple named Ken and Mary, Nissan produced only 197 examples of this car – the last Nissan S20 in a row with six engines – making it one of the rarest GT-Rs of all. This is a great opportunity to sell Legends Cars.

To his right sits the fourth generation Mazda MX-5/Roadster. This might be a slightly controversial choice, because GT7 She already has an ND form. However, the current car is a 1.5-liter model, so the version could be 2.0 liters. With the legendary MX-5 A set of special editionsExact installation will not be possible until the vehicle is officially revealed.

In the upper right corner we find an updated model of the Nissan GT-R GT3. Competing for the first time in 2018, this car used the chassis after the MY17 for the first time, along with improvements to the 2012 car and its 2015 update.

It’s hard to tell if the car was the original 2018 version or the less popular 2020 Evo, as the physical differences were minimal. It can also be a specific team vehicle, such as one of the GT300s of the Super GT series.

Finally, in the upper right corner is the Maserati Merak. It’s a 6-cylinder derivative of the Maserati Bora, and in fact the two cars are nearly identical with the open rear B-pillar with C-pillars rather than the glazed cabin.

Although hard to distinguish from the silhouettes, the car appears to be a regular Merak due to the lack of the hood-mounted grille on the higher-spec SS (and the later lower-powered 2000GT).

These teasers only include cars that come in the update, so other contents and features are unknown at the moment. However, players may be expecting a new track this month, as there seems to be a trend in updates so far.

All other updates so far have either brought a new circuit or new layouts on an existing circuit. The May, July, and September updates included no track, while the April, June, and August updates did. Additionally, the April and August updates have added changes to existing tracks – Spa-Francorchamps And Barcelona – With June bringing in Watkins Glenn as the only brand new ring. So it seems that October has ushered in a new path.

As for other features and changes, adding a file Promised car sale feature He is what society has always expected. There will likely be other tweaks, including a new set of engine swaps and more coffee shop menu books.

We don’t have an exact update date yet, but we expect it to be around Thursday, October 20th.
