2023 has started for Disney+ with one of its great Spanish fiction bets: ‘The invisible girl’. Although this story signed by Blue Jeans had already been a phenomenon as a book, now the platform seeks to repeat the success with its adaptation in series format of 8 chapters.

Released on February 15, 2023, this story tells of the union of forces between a father and a daughter to iInvestigate the murder of a young woman in full festivals of a town in which all its inhabitants are suspects. Classmates, teachers, family bond… they all seem to have done something that could make him a murderer.

One of the suspects, without spoilers, is her literature teacher, who by H or B could also be linked by death. It turns out that this character is called Virginia Castellanos, something that all those fans of ‘Personal Reasons’ will not have missed, whose first and last name are linked to another face. The truth is that in the legendary Telecinco series there was no one called as such, but who we met as Virginia Palazón, was really a double identity of Victoria Castellanos, her real name.

The two identities of the character played by Marta Calvó They were too strong to stick in our minds. and there they remain almost 20 years after their broadcast. Clearly, the fusion of names does not seem to have been something casual and, although the one of ‘Motivos’ has nothing to do with that of ‘The invisible girl’ played by Rebeca Matellán, we could indeed find similar features such as that both manipulate evidence, they hide many secrets, they are involved in murders and they move, on many occasions, for love.
