Kannur: The North Malabar Chamber of Commerce, a driving force for overall development in North Malabar, is launching the Gold Cup Sevens Football Tournament. Zilla Panchayat President PP Divya will inaugurate the football match which will be held at the Kannur Police Turf from March 10 to 17 at 4.30 pm. OK Vineesh Former Santosh Trophy Asst. Coach Bineesh Kiran will be the chief guests.
Eight teams will participate in the competition. Nikshan Electronics Kannur and Lourdes Academy Thaliparam will meet in the opening match. In the press conference, the office bearers of the chamber, C. Anil Kumar, TK Ramesh Kumar, K. Narayanan Kutty Hanish K. Vaniankandi and Dinesh Alinkal participated.
