The OECD forecasts a sharp contraction of the world economy in 2023

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has revised downwards its forecasts for growth of the world economy, degraded by the more lasting consequences than anticipated of the war in Ukraine. In a report published on Monday, September 26 and entitled “the price of war”, it announces a drop in global GDP growth forecasts from 2.8% to 2.2% with a sharp drop in production.
