The city of Brussels is mobilizing for the protection of its old elevators, remarkable for their impressive architecture. The Belgian capital has launched an inventory.

It’s quite formidable“, rejoices one of them. Belgian law requires the renovation of these 100-year-old lifts, which no longer meet current safety standards, and are threatened with disappearance. The owners are struggling to find service providers in the height of these exceptional machines.
