It is an atrocious story that took place on November 15th. A paramedic responds to the scene of a traffic accident north of Calgary, Canada. A driver lost control of his car and collided with an oncoming truck. He was able to get out of his car but his young passenger was seriously injured.

The paramedic joined the victim in the wreckage of the car, taking care of her and trying to comfort her. She immediately saw that she was very seriously injured, she was totally disfigured. She waited with her until we could extricate her and take her by helicopter to the hospital.

Coming home from the operation, the paramedic expressed her grief and frustration to her colleague, knowing that the young girl was sure to die and that a family would be grieving. What she didn’t know was that this family was hers, tell me CBS.

“My worst nightmare has come true”

Because when she got home, the paramedic found the police coming to tell her the horrible news. This young girl who almost died in his arms was his own daughter. “My worst nightmare as a paramedic has come true,” she wrote later on Facebook. The badly injured patient I had just treated was my flesh and blood. My only child. My mini me. My daughter, Montana. Her injuries were so horrific that I didn’t even recognize her.”

Afterwards, the paramedic spoke to the media from the fire paramedic station, her colleagues in tears around her: “She was a fighter and she fought until the day she died and she was beautiful. She was so beautiful, she said in tribute to her daughter. If ever she had to make an effort in anything, she always succeeded.
