As the launch of EVERSPACE 2 approaches, ROCKFISH Games is proceeding with its development on next-generation consoles (PS5/Xbox SeriesX|S). “Our goal with EVERSPACE 2 was to push the limits of the previous generation of consoles. We’ve spent our time, but downscaling EVERSPACE 2 to these platforms doesn’t reach the level of quality we want to deliver,” said Schade. “We would like to reach out to backers who committed console software on Kickstarter to see if they continue to be interested in versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
