Whether Huang Shanshan, who was hand-picked by North Mayor Ke Wenzhe to run for the election, will join the People’s Party. At present, Ke Wenzhe has made a decision and confirmed that Huang Shanshan will run without party membership. He hopes to include middle voters and light blue and light green votes, breaking through the blue-green mix. .

The People’s Party has nominated Legislator Lai Xiangling to be the mayor of Taoyuan, and party director Chen Wanhui to elect Yilan County Mayor. According to the Party Central Committee’s plan, Legislator Qiu Chenyuan elected Keelung, Legislator Gao Hongan elected Hsinchu City, and Taipei City supported Deputy Mayor Huang Shanshan; but Huang Shanshan has been plagued by issues such as party membership recently.

In response to the issue of Huang Shanshan’s party membership, Ke Wenzhe once said that Huang Shanshan could run for election without party membership, which triggered a frying pan in the People’s Party, thinking it was a trick.

In this regard, Cai Biru, the convener of the People’s Party’s campaign group, said that after discussions, Ke Wenzhe decided that Huang Shanshan would run as a non-party member, which would help to stand in the middle position and expand to both the blue and green sides, hoping to win more voters’ approval. I hope to strengthen communication and explanation within the party, and unite to support Huang Shanshan’s candidacy.

In addition, the People’s Party’s election final meeting was originally scheduled to discuss the nominations of Keelung and Hsinchu last week, but was postponed to July 11 for some reason. The outside world is concerned about whether Gao Hongan will run for the mayor of Hsinchu. Although Gao Hongan has not officially stated his position, he has held frequent press conferences recently. , went to local inspections, and even bombarded Hsinchu Mayor Lin Zhijian and the DPP’s nomination of Hsinchu mayor candidate Shen Huihong, quite a gesture of participation.

People from the People’s Party pointed out that after the DPP nominated Shen Huihong and the Kuomintang nominated Lin Gengren, the party assessed that Gao Hongan had a chance to get out of the siege and was elected, and Gao Hongan’s attitude turned positive. Recently, he has even been looking for a house in Hsinchu. The day election will be decided.

In this regard, Gao Hongan is still reluctant to say whether she will run for the election. She said that she respects the party’s nomination mechanism and will discuss with Ke Wenzhe again.
