The plane disappeared shortly after takeoff

Civil Aviation Authority Philippines (CAAP) has confirmed that a small plane, a Cessna 340 with four people on board, went missing following taking off on the morning of February 18 southeast of Manila, according to The Washington Post.

According to CAAP, the authorities are currently searching for the vehicle missing plane.

The Cessna 340 left Albay province at 6:43 a.m. on February 18 for the capital Manila, but lost contact three minutes later. Above plane There are 4 people, including 1 pilot, 1 crew member and 2 passengers.

CAAP did not immediately provide details of those on board but said it has notified the Philippine Air Force, Coast Guard and disaster response agencies to assist in the search.

Previously, on January 24, a Philippine Cessna 206 plane carrying 6 people went missing in Isabela province and has not been found so far. Officials said the search for the plane is still ongoing, but it will depend on weather conditions in Isabela.
