Christian Karembeu, who was part of the French team that won the World Cup in 1998, spoke ahead of this Sunday’s matchup between Argentina and France for the Qatar 2022 final and warned regarding the presence of Lionel Messi.
“Argentina with Leo is a danger for France and Deschamps I know perfectly well that he is going to build a team to win”, he highlighted.
And he completed: “Messi is playing in France and this season he is showing his quality with great success. He is going to be a danger, especially with Julián (Álvarez) and those around him. It is going to be difficult for the French defense, but we have experience and the history of being champions four years ago”.
