The popularity of “Valentine’s Day” is declining in this country

Valentine’s Day or Valentine’s Day is an occasion celebrated by many people in some parts of the world on the fourteenth of February every year.

But the popularity of “Valentine’s Day” has declined in Russia four times in the last 15 years, according to a study conducted by SuperJob, in which 3,000 people participated.

The study added: “This year, only 12 percent of Russians will celebrate Valentine’s Day, and 78 percent will ignore it. The holiday is favored among Russians under the age of 34 (16 percent) and women (14 percent versus 11 percent among men). )”.

The study showed that this holiday, which came to Russia in the nineties of the last century, has lost its luster during the past fifteen years, and its popularity has been steadily declining.

In 2009 only 40 percent celebrated this holiday, and in 2021 only 13 percent celebrated.

However, according to the study, one in three men (33 percent) intends to give flowers to the woman they love on Valentine’s Day.
