As of May 1, the state-funded 15 cents per liter discount scheme is still in effect in Mayotte.
Here are the fuel prices from May 1:
- Premium unleaded fuels: €1.73/litre on 1 May compared to €1.74/litre in April 2022
- Diesel: €1.57 / liter on May 1 against €1.51 / liter in April 2022
- Lamp oil: €1.24 / liter on 1 May compared to €1.20 / liter in April 2022
- Zero-rated mixture: €1.21 / liter on May 1 against €1.22 / liter in April 2022
- GO Marine: €1.20 / liter on May 1 against €1.14 / liter in April 2022
- 12kg gas cylinder: 29.00 euros per unit on May 1 and identical to April 2022
The prices are higher than those displayed at the pump because the TotalEnergies brand also applies a reduction of 0.10 euro cents per liter on fuel. Thus in April unleaded was at 1.64 € / liter and diesel at 1.41 € / liter. If the oil company repeats its operation, the prices displayed at the pump will be €1.63/litre for unleaded and €1.47/litre for diesel.
