“Al-Jalla” indicated in statements to “The Seventh Day” that the popularity of the gold artifact market means more employment for workers, especially since the gold artifact industry requires intensive labor compared to the industry of pounds and bars, in which there is less reliance on labor.
The secretary of the Gold Division explained that the gold market in Egypt got the kiss of life from the government decision issued last May, which allows the entry of gold with Egyptians returning from abroad without customs.
