The price of gold today in Egypt has returned to rise by the middle of trading, after the price of gold lost 10 pounds per gram at the beginning of today’s trading, according to Naguib Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division in the former West Cairo Chamber of Commerce, to Masrawy.
And gold has declined since yesterday due to the decline in the dollar’s price yesterday, 4 piasters in the National Bank, to record 18.28 pounds for purchase, and 18.38 pounds for sale at the end of Thursday’s trading.
Gold prices have seen big jumps in the local market in the past weeks, affected by the price of the metal globally, which rose due to the declaration of war between Russia and Ukraine.

14 karat gold prices increased to 657 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 karat gold rose about 844 pounds per gram.
And the price of 21 karat gold fell to 985 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold was about 1126 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound fell at 7880 pounds, and the price may vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound, and its price is linked to the prices of a gram of 21 karat.

And gold globally settled at 1958.41 dollars an ounce, hovering near the highest level in more than a week, which it reached in the previous session, rising about 2% so far this week, while US gold futures fell 0.2% to 1958.70 dollars, according to CNBC.
