“The prices have increased and the service has worsened.” Al-Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: Citizen Manal Al-Fawzan recounted her experience with domestic workers from a recruitment office.

Al-Fawzan said, during an interview with the “Yahla” program, that she had brought a domestic worker from one of the recruitment offices, but the latter was refusing to work, noting: “The worker had a list of Saudi numbers, and she was specific for 3 months and quit work.”

She continued: “I informed the recruitment office that the domestic worker is not suitable for work, and with her many Saudi numbers she was communicating with via the Internet,” noting: “I asked the recruitment office to take the worker and send me a replacement worker, who came following 6 months.”

She explained: “The biggest problem that clients face with recruitment agencies is the alternative,” noting: “The recruitment office took the worker from me and transferred her to other people despite knowing that she was bad.”

She added: “The second problem that we face with recruitment agencies is the psychological and behavioral problems of the workers that terrify us, in addition to the strange behavior,” noting: “The prices of domestic workers have increased and the service has worsened, and the recruitment office does justice to the employment and not the client.”
