The Prime Minister: We are keen to increase the income of the Egyptian citizen

Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, stressed the state’s keenness to increase the citizen’s income, saying: “We are all keen to increase the income of the Egyptian citizen, and the income of the citizen in any country in the world does not increase except by increasing the country’s gross domestic product, and this output rises in the event that either The state has natural resources such as petroleum resources or some precious metals, and the second alternative is to expand the process of growth and production through the implementation of large development projects that countries desperately need in order to achieve a major boom in the standard of life for citizens, provide services and achieve comprehensive development through infrastructure projects. The basic approach, and this is the approach followed by the Egyptian state. Praise be to God, over the past four or five years, these projects have made the gross domestic product double by unprecedented numbers, taking into account the population increase, the share of the Egyptian citizen in the GDP is increasing.

This confirms that in order for the Egyptian economy to grow and for us to achieve the growth spurts we wish for our country… these great development projects must continue, and perhaps the most important project we confirm our keenness to continue implementing, because it achieves all the equations of the comprehensive and integrated development process is the initiative Presidential “A decent life” for the development and development of the Egyptian countryside, this giant project, which serves about 60 million Egyptian citizens in the countryside, works to achieve a decent standard of living through infrastructure projects and services, and at the same time creates very large job opportunities at the local level.

He added: We must not forget a very important thing, which is that the unemployment rate in 2014 was 13% and today, thanks to God, is less than 7.5% despite all the challenges facing us, and all this was only achieved through major national projects implemented by the Egyptian state, It suffices that every day there are millions of Egyptian families whose breadwinner returns with what is sufficient to support his family. These projects, as they were implemented to expand the populated area in Egypt, have provided millions of job opportunities for our youth.
