Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Board of Directors of the General Real Estate Authority issued the executive regulations for the real estate registration system, according to the terms of reference entrusted to it in accordance with the provisions of the system, which is concerned with documenting land and real property.
The Real Estate General Authority shall have jurisdiction and supervision of the system; This contributes to raising the efficiency and flexibility of the registration procedures in the system in cooperation with the concerned government agencies, as the system works to increase transparency and reliability in the sector and reduce real estate disputes.
Granting absolute authentic property ownership in proof is one of the most important features stipulated in the system, which in turn contributes to serving the public interest and real estate owners of all segments, as the system clarifies the procedures for disposing of properties described on the map, registration fees, penalties, and controls for conducting survey work related to real estate registration.
The Cabinet had recently approved the real estate registration system, which will apply to all real estate in the Kingdom, provided that the real estate documentation systems in force before the real estate registration system came into force on real estate that are not located in the real estate areas declared in accordance with the provisions of the system.
