The T-Rex would have very different teeth compared to the Jurassic Park films
In a brand new study, published in the revue Science on March 30, 2023, a group of researchers successfully demonstrated that the T-Rex was even more different from the T-Rex from the Jurassic Park movies than we thought. Especially at the level of in the dentition.
According to Thomas Cullen, co-author of the study, theropods like the T-Rex would ultimately not have visible winds. Often depicted with the sharp teeth which protrudes from the mouth even when it is closed, the Tyrannosaurus would ultimately no visible teethas is the case with the crocodiliens. According to the study, the dentition of the Tyrannosaurus would also have a very different setup from that of crocodiles. “They display a model closer to animals with lips. The thickness of their enamel is the same on the outer and inner sides“, explains Thomas Cullen.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex would have had feathers too, like the Raptors

The T-Rex was slower than in the Jurassic Park and World movies
Moreover, according to researcher John Hutchinson, the T-Rex would not run as fast as the one in Jurassic Park or even that of Jurassic World. Even if when Claire is chased by the T-Rex, the latter goes slower than when we see a Jeep racing at 65 km/h, it seems that the T-Rex could only go at 40 km/h at the max, with an average of 20 km/h. According to the researcher, he was walking at a ten kilometers per hour. The dinosaur was massive and its skeleton did not allow it to go any faster.
