Check out Celine Dion's new song

For the first time since November 2019, Celine Dion is releasing an original song. On Thursday morning, the performer shared the new film’s title track, love again (Love Again), in which she will play her own role. The piece will be found on the complete album of the film, which will include five new songs by Céline.

Listening to the lyrics of this new piece, one cannot help but draw parallels with the life of the singer of Charlemagne.

It speaks of a last farewell that leaves a feeling of emptiness; that it may be tempting to give up, but you shouldn’t.

Interestingly, the song Love Again was co-written by Dan Wilson and ROSIE. Wilson is part of the Semisonic group, which in 1998 launched the megahit Closing Time. The singer also co-wrote Lovers Never Die for Céline on her latest studio album, Couragein 2019.

Sharing the song Thursday morning on social media, Celine and her team also announced that the film’s full album Love Again will be released on May 12, a week after the feature film hits theaters.

The album will have 14 tracks, including 5 new pieces by Céline (Love Again, I’ll Be, Waiting On You, Love of My Life, The Gift). It will also contain six of the singer’s greatest hits (It’s All Coming Back to Me Now, All By Myself, Where Does My Heart Beat Now, A New Day Has Come, Courage, That’s The Way It Is) and three selections of music from the film.
