Within the framework of the investigation into the disappearance and murder of Cecilia Strzywoski, the Special Prosecutor Team (EFE) held a press conference this Thursday to give details of the case and ratify the request for preventive detention for the seven people involved.

The 28-year-old was last seen alive on June 2, in the city of Resistencia, Chaco province. For the crime, the seven accused were prosecuted this Thursday with preventive detention, as ordered by the team of prosecutors in a ruling of 175 pages.

The EFE measure fell on Cecilia’s husband, César Sena (19), who was charged with the authorship of the femicide; his parents, Emerenciano Sena (59) and Marcela Acuña (51), as co-authors of the murder; and about the driver José Gustavo Obregón (42), his wife Fabiana González (36), the landlord of the camp of the main suspects, Gustavo Melgarejo (29), and his partner Griselda Reinoso (42), all of them accused of “aggravated concealment of the crime.

Within the framework of the investigation, the prosecutor’s team explained that they found bone remains corresponding not only to the extremities of a body but also to the skull of “the same adult person.”

Nelia Velázquez, one of the prosecutors, indicated that the remains will be sent to Córdoba for analysis. “This study can take a month and there is the possibility that there will be no results due to the state they were in,” she said.
