An emblematic operation of the start of the sports season supported by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), the Sentez-Vous Sport month ended to give way to a new program: the 10th edition of the Sentez-Vous Sport Trophies.
Deployed last September, the Sentez-Vous Sport system experienced further success during this 2023 edition. Nearly 5,000 events certified by the CNOSF have been organized in recent weeks on French territory. The objective: to offer free sports introductions to the general public, to schoolchildren and students, to company employees and to lead awareness-raising sessions within prison administration establishments.
Sentez-Vous Sport month in figures:
5,000 certified events supported by federations, committees/leagues and clubs throughout the country; 70 Sentez-Vous Sport events organized in prison; More than 9,000 participants at Parc de la Villette on September 30, with the support of 35 federations offering 40 disciplines to host the traditional Sentez-Vous Sport Village.
Each year, these trophies aim to highlight the initiatives of companies, territorial structures or associations which promote the sporting practice of their employees, collaborators or members. The Sentez-Vous Sport Trophies reward Sport & HR Management actions and programs according to several categories:
“Company and high-level athlete”: These trophies are open to companies that include a high-level athlete within their project and their actions.
“Strategy, management and well-being in business”: Companies with more than 250 employees and fewer than 250 employees who have integrated physical and sporting activity (APS) into their HR policy and their managerial strategy can apply, to improve individual and collective performance and strengthen the health capital and well-being of employees within the company.
“Territorial authorities”: Communities of less than 5,000 inhabitants and more than 5,000 inhabitants having integrated physical and sporting activity into their HR policy and into their managerial strategy in order to improve the individual and collective performance of their agents can apply in this category.
The jury and its president, Sébastien Poirier, vice-president of the CNOSF in charge of economic transformation, reserve the right to reward an additional project and award it the “Jury’s Favorite”.
Structures have until October 29, 2023 to submit their application. The results will be announced in December during a special program broadcast on the Sport channel in France.
