At the same time, the plant cannot simply stop producing such cars, as it has a number of social obligations due to the fact that part of the shares belongs to the state.
Accordingly, AvtoVAZ urgently needs an alternative, which may well be the VAZ-2101 “Kopeyka” 2024, the renderings of which have already been shared by the publication Naavtotrasse.ru. With the release of the sedan, the company will be able to solve two problems at once. First, a budget model will be offered, which Grant has been for a long time. By the way, it is the most demanded now on the market. The second task is to fulfill obligations to the state.
The built VAZ-2101 Sirius 2024 will be on the platform of the same Grants, although it will be visually different. In general, the published photos show the retro style that is used for the novelty. However, it looks quite modern. Due to the use of a ready-made “trolley”, it will take a little time to create a car. At the same time, technically, both models will have much in common.
VAZ-2101 “Kopeyka” 2024 will receive a 90-horsepower engine familiar from Grant, which will be paired with a manual transmission. The sedan will be completely localized, which will eliminate dependence on ruble fluctuations and shortages of components. The cost of the novelty, most likely, will be at the level of one million rubles, but equipment at the level of Vesta will be available. The premiere of the model should be expected no earlier than 2024.
