There’s a deal to be done, and it’s called Daam Foulon. The former Waasland-Beveren midfielder is released by Benevento at the end of his contract.
Daam Foulon (24 years old) made his mark with us in the Waasland-Beveren jersey, playing 47 games and showing good passing qualities with 9 assists from his left flank. In 2020, he landed a surprising transfer to Benevento, then in Serie A.
Since then, Benevento has gone down to Serie B, and Foulon has played 86 games in total for his club (including 23 in Serie A), for 3 goals and 5 assists. However, he came to the end of his contract on June 30 and was released.
The former Neerpede is therefore a bargain and according to Sacha Tavolieri, at least two clubs would consider it: Zulte Waregem and KV Mechelen. To be continued…
