According to our French colleagues from Actu.fr, “Philip, the King of the Belgians, has decided to buy castles for his four children”. The media article explains that since 2019, our King has been thinking about the future of his children. To do so, he would have decided to offer luxury real estate to Elisabeth, Gabriel, Éléonore and Emmanuel of Belgium. “A kind of refuge for future kings or queens or cozy nests for those who would miss the supreme inheritance”, they write.
But then, what about it? On this April 1st, we asked the question at the Royal Palace. “April Fool or satirical article, it is in any case false”, tells us the cabinet of His Majesty the King.
