The technical staff of the Saudi national under-23 team announced the call-up of Firas Al-Braikan and Hassan Timbukti following completing the first preparatory stage for the World Cup with the first team.
The Olympic team is playing in the AFC U-23 Championship and had topped its group by defeating Tajikistan and the UAE and drawing with Japan, to meet Vietnam in the quarter-finals next Sunday.
Al-Brikan and Timbaki participated in the two friendlies of the first team in the first stage, which the team lost to Colombia and Venezuela 1-0.
