The scholar of “Egyptology” talks about the origins of the Prophet Muhammad and raises widespread controversy • Al Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: The Egyptologist, the Egyptian expert, Wassim Al-Sisi, said that the Prophet Muhammad has Egyptian roots, not Arab.

He pointed out, during televised statements on Al-Hadath Al-Youm channel, that: “The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, has his roots from Egypt, and the Egyptians are from his lineage, from Bani Abd Manaf.”

And he continued: “Our Lord chose Al-Kinana, and from Kinana he chose Bani Abd Manaf, and from Bani Abd Manaf he chose Quraysh, and from Quraysh he chose Bani Hashem, so I am a choice from an option, and after that, Hajar is an Egyptian.”

He added, “There is a mural showing that the Pharaohs prostrated on their chins, and this is what was mentioned in the words of God Almighty in Surat Al-Isra: “Those who were given knowledge before him, when it is recited to them, fall to their chins in prostration.”

And he continued, there are some words repeated by the Egyptians in some songs of Pharaonic origin, adding: “Among them, for example, are the songs of Ramadan, “Wahwi Ya and Hawi Yoha,” which means hello, welcome. “.

It is noteworthy that Wassim Al-Sisi’s statements sparked widespread controversy and opinions were divided between support and opposition.
