This noon, the Electoral Justice finalized the final scrutinyor the elections on Sunday in Río Negro that produced some modifications, such as the victory of Juntos Somos Río Negro in the section for legislators from the Alto Valle Oeste and granting one more seat to the ruling party.

The provisional count of the Alto Valle Oeste, with 17 tables left to load, had concluded with 253 votes in favor of Cambia Río Negro, which, determined two legislators for that force led by Aníbal Tortoriello: Patricia Mc Kiddi and Dianco Chiachiarini.

On the other hand, Alberto Weretilneck’s party, in that circuit, was second and achieved the re-election of legislator Lucas Pica.

In addition to the pending votes, in recent days, claims have been made by the ruling party and Nos Une Río Negro for errors by the electoral authorities at different polling stations because sections of the JSRN candidates that were attached to the UCR ballots were not included. .The new legislator, Lorena Yensen

Judge Carlos Da Silva accepted the request by “verifying the reported inconsistencies”the polls opened on Friday, the corrections were made (384 more votes for JSRN) and, finally, this noon, it was completed with the full load.

According to the totals, the ruling party added 24,925 votes and Cambia Río Negro reached 24,870 votes, that is, a difference of 55 votes.

The final scrutiny, with a 68.23% participation, it ended with 154,086 votes for the Alberto Weretilneck-Pedro Pesatti formula, including JSRN and Nos Une Río Negro. The list of Cambia Río Negro, with Aníbal Tortoriello, totaled 86,660 votes, which represents 23.84%.

This alteration resulted in two parliamentarians for JSRN: Lucas Pica and the incorporation, as of the latest corrections, of councilor Lorena Yensen, from the MPP.

Instead, Tortoriello force lost a legislator: Dianco Chiachiarini, who is from ARI.

The only representative of Cambia for the Alto Valle Oeste will be Patricia Mc Kiddi, a close collaborator of the businessman from Cipol.

With the election of Yensen, the pro-government bench will total 19 own members and Cambia Río Negro passes to 13 legislators. They are completed with 5 for Nos Une Río Negro, 5 for Vamos con Todos, 2 for the UCR and 2 for Primero Río Negro.

The opening and counting of the Cipolletti polls was closely followed by the president of the block, Facundo López, as well as by the former lieutenant governor Bautista Mendioroz, as leader of the ARI.

During the five days of the scrutiny, the Electoral Court team, headed by Judge Da Silva and the secretary Veronica Belloso; and also, the representatives of the majority forces, such as Damián Torres from JSRN; Nicolás Yansen from Cambia Río Negro and Matias Rulli from Vamos con Todos.

Also present were the Viedma candidate and PRO leader, Roberto Brussa; former senator Magdalena Odarda, legislator Nicolás Rochas.
