The people of Al-Maasara district in Helwan woke up to a heinous murder, after a mother and her son killed his older brother, due to a quarrel between them following previous disputes in the department department.
The details of the incident began with a notification to the officers of the Al-Maasara Police Department, from the locals, about the death of a young man, and by moving and examining the body of a thirty-year-old man who had been stabbed several times, and by conducting investigations it was found that behind the perpetration of the incident was the mother of the victim in conjunction with his younger brother, and they were arrested.
The accused mother said, before the Public Prosecution, that she had separated from the father of the victim and married another person, and on the day of the incident she was sleeping and saw the victim approaching her, and she thought that the accused was approaching to attack her, so she hit him on the head with a wooden stick, and when his brother entered, she told him what happened, so they beat him. He was severely beaten until he fell into a coma.
And the accused mother continued that the victim died as a result of the beating, and then we decided to bring a tuktuk driver to throw the victim’s body, but we were arrested after we left the house, and the prosecution decided to imprison the accused for four days pending investigations.
