Raspberry Pi 4 Model B

As reported by Tom’s Hardware,Raspberry PiCEO Eben Upton announced that he expects monthly production of 1 million units from July 2023 for the company’s single board computer “Raspberry Pi” series.

According to him, the Raspberry Pi series shipped regarding 800,000 units in the first quarter of 2023, the lowest quarterly shipments since 2015. However, the company’s partner company, Sony, was able to stockpile parts for the Raspberry Pi, and overcame the inventory shortage, so it is expected that the supply situation will improve in the future.

He forecasts sales of 800,000 units for the Raspberry Pi series in June, and plans to maintain monthly production of 1 million units from July.

At the moment, there are enough stocks of old models such as Raspberry Pi 3A + and Zero series, but it seems that Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and Compute Module 4 are still difficult to obtain. However, the stock of Raspberry Pi 4 is said to be recovering.
