The Belgian defender’s joining the UAE club on a free transfer comes after the end of his contract with the French club Lyon, last July, which he moved to in the summer of 2018.

Dinaire is 27 players, and played 138 matches with Lyon, in various competitions, during which he scored 8 goals and assisted 2.

At the international level, Jason is a mainstay in the back line of the Belgium national team, and has participated in 35 international matches, during which he scored one goal.

Jason Denayer is the fifth foreign professional in Al-Ahly’s Shebbak Club, as 4 other professionals are active in the team’s ranks, namely: Syrian Omar Kharbin, Uzbek Aziz Ganyev, Argentine Kartabia and Iranian Ahmad Nour Allah.
