To celebrate the advent of spring and in an atmosphere of love and familiarity, the Mouwasat Association in Sidon, in the presence of the President of the Mouwasat Association, Ms. Rula Ansari, members of the administrative board of the association, Ms. Randa Dandashli, Ms. Diana Sunaid, the director of the association, Mrs. Ghada Al-Darzi and the staff of the Mouwasat Association, organized a spring festival entitled “The Festival of Spring and Renewal” in the presence of a group of Community women from Sidon and the neighborhood.
The ceremony opened with the Lebanese national anthem and the Mouwasat Association anthem.
The festival was presented by the journalist Ahmed Qanso, who welcomed the attendees and praised the work of the Mowasat Association for the success of this festival, the proceeds of which go to support the students of Sidon Technical Institute.
It was followed by two artistic performances by the Kufiya Band for Palestinian Heritage, as well as artists Sari, Ahmed Jiab, Muhammad Al-Abd, and singing performances that were well received and admired by all.
For her part, the President of the Condolences Association, Mrs. Rola Ansari, thanked the association’s staff, pointing to the great role and distinguished activity of the association at the local level as well as at the social level, with the important roles it plays in the advancement of society, and stressed that the most important characteristic of the association’s performance is the continuity of activity and success during the march It extended for more than 50 years, during which the association played an influential and important role in serving Sidon and the neighborhood. Ansari also praised the efforts of Mrs. Samira Basar and the association’s staff in making this festival a success.
At the end of the festival, the Mouwasat Association presented an honorary shield to Mrs. Abeer Yahya as a token of gratitude and loyalty for making this festival a success. A group of valuable gifts from the tambola clouds was presented to the audience, who wished that the special events in the association would continue permanently and continuously.
