ALGIERS- The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed, Thursday, that the State supported and accompanied investors, at all levels, for better performance and more employment opportunities.
Presiding over the opening of the 31st edition of the Algerian Production Fair at the Palais des Expositions (Pins Maritimes) in Algiers, President Tebboune inquired, during his tour in several stands dedicated to public and private national companies, of great progress made in terms of integration rate, acquisition of the technologies necessary to support local demand, on the one hand, and access to markets and external spaces, on the other hand, as much as these products now meet the international standards and criteria in force in export operations.
In this context, President Tebboune affirmed that “the State supports and accompanies investors at all levels, both for financing and for land, or even in order to iron out difficulties for better performance and more job opportunities.”
“Algeria is now an open construction site, particularly with the entry into operation of several strategic projects, automobile manufacturing plants and the expansion of the household appliances industries,” maintained the President of the Republic.
For President Tebboune, this “will open the door to start-ups and subcontracting companies, with a view to contributing to increasing the level of integration in the national industry, like the achievements of the Institution of the National People’s Army (ANP) in matters of military industries, some of which have reached 100%.
This industry is now the pride of Algeria, thanks to the high directives of the President of the Republic, Supreme Head of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense.
Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui visited, for his part, certain stands of the Fair, where he listened to explanations and had discussions with representatives of companies taking part in this economic event which will last until December 23, and which is held under the theme “The producing enterprise, basis of growth and economic development”.
