Sofiane Bouftini, the new name in the ranks of Al Wasl (Emperor), arrives at Zabeel Stadium with a distinguished record with the Moroccan national team.
And Buffetini had signed for the emperor during the past few days in a free transfer deal, after the end of his short career in the ranks of Al-Ahly of Qatar (the Brigadier).
The 28-year-old plays in the center of the defense, where he spent most of his football career in Morocco, moving between the clubs of Ittihad Azilal, Raja Beni Mellal and Hassania Agadir.
Buffetini’s name emerged specifically last year, when he participated in the African Nations Cup 2020 in Cameroon, accompanied by the Moroccan national team.
The owner of the No. 15 shirt rose and presented impressive levels in the championship, contributing to the Atlas Lions winning the title for the second time in their history.
Bovetini scored two goals, including his goal in the final match against Mali, to impose himself as the third best scorer for the Moroccan team behind Sofiane Rahimi, Najm Al-Ain (leader), and Ayoub Al Kaabi.
