The Super Nintendo World in Orlando has been postponed indefinitely • Eurogamer.de

The opening was last scheduled for 2023.

Before Super Nintendo World launches at Universal Studios in Orlando, it will take longer than originally planned.

The project was now until further notice put on hold, the opening was last for 2023 planned.

The decisive factor is the ongoing corona pandemic, as Universal’s parent company Comcast reports, which of course leads to a drop in sales.

The Super Nintendo World was to become part of the Epic Universe in Florida, the construction of which is now also suspended. It is currently not clear when it will continue.

Due to the pandemic, the opening of Super Nintendo World in Japan had been postponed, and a new video with aerial images was released in July.

It will be a long time before it starts in the USA.
