Eight out of ten Democrats have expressed their intention to vote in the midterm elections as Democrats raised the November midterm elections over the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to repeal the right to abortion.
According to a poll conducted on the 27th (local time) by NPR and PBS broadcasting, 78% of Democratic supporters said they are likely to vote in this election because of the Supreme Court decision.
Republicans responded positively to the same question by only 54%, a difference of 24 percentage points from Democrats.
Regarding the Supreme Court’s abolition of the right to abortion, 88% of Democratic supporters and 53% of shamans said ‘strongly opposed’, respectively.
By contrast, 77% of Republicans supported the Supreme Court decision and only 10% opposed it.
51% of all respondents said they would vote for a candidate supporting the restoration of the right to abortion at the federal level.
Thirty-six percent said they would not vote for support for the restoration of abortion rights.
