The terrible combo for this cyclist: he falls while celebrating a victory… while he is second (VIDEO)

While the Tour Romandie is getting all the attention of cycling fans this week, the Tour of Greece is a little lesser known. However, it attracts some renowned formations, such as the Trek, the Belgian team Bingoal or the Caja Rural. The latter is often in sight at the Spanish races and can rely on Eduard Prades, ex-winner of the rounds of Turkey and Norway, as leader.

Moreover, the latter raised his arms from the first stage. Problem: The Spaniard didn’t know that the peloton had been beaten by Aaron Gate, a breakaway who had maintained a 1’46” lead at the finish line. Another problem: Prades fell crossing the line with his arms raised , while his saddle seems to have broken in full celebration.

Something to piss him off, of course. But we can imagine all his frustration when he was told a few moments later that he had not won…
