The thermal school of stress: a psychotherapeutic model in France

The stress et anxiety are among the most commonly encountered pathologies today. Conventional spa treatment is a specific approach to these disorders, it is undoubtedly the most appropriate treatment to treat this public health problem.

The Saujon spa resort was created in 2012 The Thermal School of Stress which deploys unique programs with professionals trained in therapies cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and therapeutic education.

Its particularity is to approach the disorder from an angle that is both physiological through spa treatments and psychological by a work of information, listening and learning by knowledge tools for daily useafter the treatment.

The programs of theThermal school of stress are supervised and validated by a scientific committee made up of medical specialistsrenowned medical professors and academics.

The resulting results make it possible, on the one hand, to quantify the benefits obtained for each theme (anxiety, burn-out, sleep, pains…) and through feedback on the quality of care, to regularly adapt our practices for greater efficiency.

Two possible formulas:

L5 day course in addition to a conventional cure or a mini cure (thermal treatment package over 5 days not supported) with specific psychoeducational workshops et an evaluation at the start and end of treatment.

L3 week internship in addition to a conventional spa treatment , medical follow-up , specific psychoeducational workshops of the ratings during and after the cure, at 3 months and at 6 months for certain stages, individual interviews and Health workshop(s) (sophrology, do-in…) depending on the theme chosen.
