The third day of Eid.. A Palestinian was killed by Israeli gunfire in the northern West Bank

Palestine – A Palestinian was killed and two others were injured, at dawn on Friday, the third day of Eid al-Fitr, by Israeli army gunfire in the northern West Bank.

This came during the Israeli army’s implementation of a series of incursions into cities, camps and towns in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that Anadolu Agency received, “its crews dealt with one martyr and two injuries from Israeli army bullets during the storming of Al-Far’a camp near Tubas.”

She explained that among the two injuries was a live bullet injury to the neck, which was described as serious, and rather to the thigh, and all of them were transferred to the Turkish Tubas Governmental Hospital.

The association said that the Israeli army arrested a volunteer paramedic while transporting one of the injured people from Al-Faraa camp.

In this context, eyewitnesses reported that “an Israeli army force stormed the Al-Far’a camp near Tubas, and raided a number of homes amid the outbreak of armed clashes and confrontations with dozens of Palestinians.”

Witnesses said that the sound of explosions was heard from time to time in the camp.

Witnesses explained that a young man was hit by Israeli bullets in the head, and his death was later announced.

They indicated that the young man is called Muhammad Shahmawi, without further details.

With the death of this young man, the death toll in the West Bank rises to 461 since last October 7, according to what was monitored by Anadolu’s correspondent.

The Israeli army carried out several incursions into the Jenin, Nablus, Tulkarm, and Qalqilya governorates (north), and towns in the Hebron and Bethlehem governorates (south), according to eyewitnesses.

Witnesses told Anadolu that the Israeli army “carried out a campaign of arrests that targeted a number of citizens in several towns in the West Bank.”

They pointed out that Israeli army forces stormed the city of Tulkarm and arrested at least one citizen.

Since the start of its war on Gaza, on October 7, the Israeli army has escalated its attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem. As a result, 461 Palestinians were killed and about 4,750 wounded, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

While the Israeli war on Gaza left tens of thousands of civilian casualties, most of them children and women, and massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of dozens of children, according to Palestinian and UN data.
