Our city, as every year, hosts for three days amateur troupes from all over the country who will present theatrical acts, serving the most basic qualities of the Patrinos Carnival?
Satire-Disguise-Subversion. Volunteers from all over the country, and this year especially from the Greek-speaking community in Brussels, are going up on the stage of the Pantheon, to offer laughter, joyous and redemptive. To jointly present two satirical modular shows about those who hurt us and burn us, about those who torture us daily and… always.

And it is not limited here. At the same time… with a starting date of February 17th and a peak on Tsikno-Thursday, March 7th, the “Internet Momos” will also be uploaded to the digital platform of the Patronos Carnival, hosting 32 filmed satirical 10-minute, amateur troupes.
All are subtitled and framed by complete archival material (photos, distribution, credits, history, websites) of each team and compete for the Best Satirical Decapitator Award.

TRIBUTE TO SATIRE
a. Performance by the Polyphonic Adult Theater Workshop of Patras (2005) The Zakynthian “Speech” by Nikos Gousetis “Ilion” – Trojan War, written in 2023 (duration 1 hour) will be presented
b. Next is the satirical number “The pensioner” by Lakis Lazopoulos. from the revision “It was a small ship” of 1995, as it will be presented by the Theater Group “G. Souris” of Ermoupolis Syros (1979) (duration 15 minutes)
c. And the evening of the Tribute closes with the satirical play “A Vlacha in Athens”, by an unknown author, as presented by the Theater Group of the Municipality of Ilida “ErasiTECHNES” (2014) (duration 15 minutes)
